www.ruaaventures.com (“Website”), and the related mobile site and mobile application KaNoon (hereinafter referred to as “Platform”) exist to enable lawyers manage their first-round appearances (and case loads) efficiently. Lawyers can use the Platform to request appearances for their cases for a fee (to be paid to the attending lawyer); the platform requires lawyers to be registered with their phone number, email and advocate bar code to ensure access to only real legal professionals, and charges 10% of the transaction amount (plus applicable taxes). The attending lawyers can browse through the posted cases and select the ones they'd like to apppear, and get paid once the requesting lawyers approve the appearance update.
